As a UX Researcher at Nordnet you will have the opportunity to make an impact in our journey of re-disrupting the financial industry. You will perform research to understand Nordnet’s customers as well as our potential customers. You will bring critical insights to the UX Team and the entire Nordnet organization that will help shape our products and customer experiences.

This is part of the role
As part of the UX Team you will report to the Head of UX while collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Marketing, Customer Service and other parts of Nordnet. Your research will cover all of Nordnet’s touchpoints, from digital to physical as well as remote.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Running usability tests to see how users interact with current products as well as prototypes of new products that are in development.
- Developing and executing user surveys to get information from existing and potential customers.
- Undertaking audits of current products.
- Field studies of users to understand how they utilize Nordnet’s as well as competitors’ products and services.
- Documenting Customer Journeys, Top Tasks/Jobs To Be Done and other deliverables that will support the design, development and marketing of Nordnet’s products and services.
This is you
We believe that as a UX Researcher you are an experienced expert in usability testing and research methodologies, statistics, analysis and reporting. You are equally comfortable performing research through surveys, A/B testing, analytics data, in person interviews and with focus groups. You master the necessary tools, such as camera/audio/screen recording, app/web analytics, heat maps, and various test suites. You are intimately familiar with both apps and the web, and you are equally comfortable discussing business, design and technology.
As a person we believe that you are analytical, structured, social and open-minded. You enjoy working with others but have the drive to perform excellent work and deliver on time on your own too.
Ideally you should also be comfortable with undertaking a Business Analysis role at times, and identify the business requirements for products, including business goals and KPIs together with the Product teams. This is a plus but not a requirement.
You most probably have a background like:
- Master of Science in Human Computer Interaction, Psychology, Engineering or similar
- 3+ years of experience performing UX Research
- Experience from both small and large organizations
- Fluent in English and Swedish
- Ability to communicate in Norwegian, Danish and/or Finnish is highly valued but not a requirement
- Experience from finance or other highly regulated industries is a plus but not a requirement
