Today Nordnet launches a number of new functions for sustainable savings in funds on its web platform. Now, savers have the opportunity to filter out funds with unwanted holdings and select funds with low carbon risk.
– Nordnet’s task is to provide a wide range of investment opportunities and tools to savers that enable them to sort and choose in a range according to their own preferences. Now we strengthen our offering in sustainable investments, which feels both fun and important, says Martin Ringberg, Country Manager Nordnet Sweden.
For those savers who are interested in sustainable investments, there is now a filter function, where the savers in a predefined list can specify the type of holdings they do not want in their fund or ETF. The thirteen categories of savers can select are alcohol, pesticides, animal testing, defence industry, genetically modified organisms (GMOs), firearms, nuclear power, palm oil, pornography, gaming and casino, thermal coal, tobacco and weapons. The savers who are interested in sustainable investments can also choose to search only among funds that have a low carbon risk in their operations.
